An additional option for heat pump projects in existing buildings

Midea H-PACK adds an indoor-installed air-to-water heat pump to the range. It offers professional installers an alternative for projects where outdoor unit placement, limited space or the building layout impose special requirements. The final installation must be assessed for the specific site.

01 · RENOVATION

Existing buildings

An option for retrofits where a conventional outdoor unit is difficult or unsuitable to install.

02 · SYSTEM

Integration with existing heating installations

Depending on the project design, H-PACK can be incorporated into suitable heating systems and different hydraulic concepts.

03 · ENERGY

PV and smart energy

With appropriate system planning, the heat pump may be connected to PV generation and wider energy management concepts.

Planning for professional installers

Treat H-PACK as a complete system

For an indoor heat pump, the unit is only one part of the design. Air intake and exhaust ducting, hydraulic integration, available installation space and the building conditions should be considered together from the beginning.

  • âś“ Check installation location and available indoor space
  • âś“ Design air intake and exhaust routing via the roof or facade
  • âś“ Define hydraulic integration
  • âś“ Consider the existing heating equipment
  • âś“ Assess PV and smart-energy integration for the specific project
