Hoymiles inverter increase / increase power (to 800/1200/1500/1600W)

Note: If you did not purchase the inverter from us, you must first return it to us before we can increase the power.

We can customize the power of Hoymiles' HM and HMS series microinverters, but you must ensure that you do not increase the power beyond the maximum output power of your microinverters. For example, if your model is HM_800, we can only increase the power to 800W.

Would you like to upgrade your Hoymiles inverter or remove the power limitation?

The increase in the output power of the Hoymiles inverter is done by us via software and can be reversed or changed to a different value later.

To increase the power output, the inverter must be on-site at our facility; we cannot change the inverter remotely. Therefore, we recommend that you order this service when ordering your balcony power plant.

After we have upgraded the inverter, you will receive a certificate of upgrade from us.

With the certificate, you can register your balcony power plant with the market data register and network operator and benefit from simplified registration.

You will receive a certificate of performance change with a serial number*.

Change can be removed or set to 800W by authorized partner.

* Please note that we cannot guarantee that your grid provider will accept this. Most grid providers, such as Westnetz, do not require you to specify the inverter type when reporting. Therefore, this will be reported as an 800W inverter.

- How does this work for new customers?

1.Order the balcony power set and the throttle together in one order.

2. You don't need to do anything. We'll throttle the inverter to the desired power output.

3. You will receive the complete set including the throttled inverter, as well as the certificate digitally via email.

- How does this all work for our existing customers who have already received the system?

1. You will receive the order confirmation.

2. You send us the inverter to Entratek GmbH, Liliencronstr. 65, 21629 Neu Wulmstorf

3. We throttle the inverter to the desired power.

4. You will receive the inverter back throttled and the certificate digitally via email.

- Unfortunately, I didn't purchase the inverter from you. Could I still use your service?

A: Yes, you can still book and use this service with us:

1. You order the service and receive the order confirmation.

2. You send us the inverter to Entratek GmbH Liliencronstr. 65 21629 Neu Wulmstorf

3. We throttle the inverter to the desired power.

4. You will receive the inverter back throttled and the certificate digitally via email.

- How much would it cost to restore to a different service later?

Restoring the inverter to a different power output requires that the inverter be returned and reconfigured. Therefore, a flat fee of approximately EUR 49 will apply.

- What alternatives are there? Can I do the throttling myself?

Yes, with a DTU-Wlite S you can also throttle the performance yourself. With a DTU-Wlite S you can here  Order directly. However, this method does not provide a certificate as proof.
